!TFAM Broadcast! Today is Thursday, August 7, 2025 It’s a new day in paradise!

Sixty years ago today, on August 6, 1965, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Voting Rights Act.

Voting ensures our fundamental rights as Americans, and as members of Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. It is critical to the organization’s survival that we vote to ensure TAI endures as an organization modeling for present and future generations. When you vote remember what Tuskegee Airmen accomplished and how they accomplished their remarkable achievements during WWII and post WWII. Remember Tuskegee Airmen helped secure our right to vote.

Every financial member of TAI has a right to vote on matters that have to do with the operation and governance of this organization. Do not give that right away.

Early Wednesday morning, Tuskegee Airmen Inc via Member Planet sent an email notifying you that “it’s time to cast your vote on this year’s resolutions and next year’s operating budget.

I urge you to read the instructions, the resolutions, and the budget carefully. Please note, this year, for the first time in the history of the organization, you will need your TAIN (Tuskegee Airmen Inc. Number) to vote. It should have been printed in the email/ballot you received. It’s very important that you have this number available when you complete the information section of the ballot. You’ll find that number on your membership card. Should you not be able to find your membership card, reach out to your chapter membership chair immediately. The window to vote and return your ballot is TINY. Your vote must be received before Midnight PDT, on August 17th, 2025 in order to be counted. You only have ten days before the window closes! Do not despair, we will vote and our votes will be counted.

If you do not have an email account/address. Get in touch with your chapter membership chair/president immediately! Your vote must be received before Midnight PDT, on August 17th, 2025 in order to be counted. Make sure NATIONAL has your correct address and make sure you have your TAIN #.

If you requested a mail-in ballot and it does not arrive today or tomorrow, then you may lose your chance to vote. You will not be allowed to exercise your right to vote on these important issues. DO NOT DELAY. CONTACT YOUR CHAPTER PRESIDENT, REGIONAL PRESIDENT AND NATIONAL PRESIDENT.

Folks, I’ve got to wind this up right now! I’ll be back in touch in the next day or two.

Bye for now,

Sunnye
